This custom pan-and-tilt module for the BlueROV2 adds horizontal camera movement while retaining the original tilt functionality. The mechanism provides up to ±45° of pan in addition to the standard ±45° of tilt, expanding the camera’s field of view without requiring vehicle repositioning.
The design is compact and fits within the original 4-inch BlueROV2 enclosure, allowing integration without modifying the pressure housing. This upgrade improves visual coverage and inspection capability while maintaining the ROV’s streamlined form factor.
