Designed for use with the BlueROV2, this aramid cable sock fits tether diameters from 6–10 mm and creates a strong mechanical attachment point for the tether. It engages the aramid fibers inside the cable so pulling forces are carried safely and efficiently.
Separating load forces from electrical components helps protect the tether and ensures dependable operation in demanding underwater conditions. This product includes the aramid cable sock only. Manufactured from High-Strength aramid fibres to provide secure load transfer from the tether to the lifting point on the vehicle. The aramid braid design distributes load along the tether and helps reduce localised stress on the outer jacket.
